Information and updates
Please Note #2: As you can see from this web page I am not a web designer. I am putting this page out to keep you informed about the bee class in Las Vegas. As questions come up I will add to this page. All of the information about this class will be here. The extension office is taking call and emails and sending them to me. Some of the information about the beekeeping class you hear my be wrong. The information you get from this page is from the instructor. If there are any changes you will find them on this page.

Please Note #3: I have started this web site in hopes of keeping all of the new class members connected for the future. My wife does do a fair job at web design and will be working on one for us. We hope to have a blog and a forum. As well as connect on facebook. Book mark this page to see updates and help us put this together. Comments are welcome and needed!
Please Note #4 For all of you that are going to be at the Beekeeping Class on April 21 we have some work to do. The orchard has lots of irrigation boxes and 2 or 3 times a year they get a swarm that moves in. They have an irrigation box that has had a hive in it for some time. I have talked the manager Jon into letting us removal the hive alive at the class. I am also giving this hive to one of the Beekeeping Class students as a prize by way of a drawing. I will provide a new queen for this colony as well. This hive will be most likely like a Nuc (5 frames of bees, queen and brood). I sell these Nucs for $125.00. So if you come to the class you could win a Nuc and more then pay for your class fees. This hive will be ready to be taken home about a month after we remove it. This is a really good learning opportunity for new beekeepers to learn how to remove bee in irrigation boxes.
Sorry but the beekeeping class is full.
